WordPress Developer
Job Description
WordPress developer design, implement and manage websites using WordPress, and will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including everything from plug-ins to security updates, you may be required to create a site or redesign the site to improve its SEO (search engine optimization) performance. We are looking for someone with strong expertise in WordPress developments.
Responsibilities
• Ensure projects are built to meet performance, security, and functional requirements.
• The WordPress Developer will oversee the development and maintenance of websites.
• Assist with testing, debugging and overall quality assurance of projects.
• Develop and implement highly optimized and customizable WordPress sites, themes, plugins, custom post types.
• Design and implement new features and functionality.
• Ensure high performance and availability, managing all technical aspects of the WordPress sites.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks including theme updates, plugin updates, security updates, etc.
• Optimizing SEO.
Qualifications:
• 2 to 3 years of development experience with WordPress.
• Experience working with a variety of WordPress plugins.
• Advanced knowledge and development experience in PHP, CSS/HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL.
• Working knowledge of front and backend development.
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Chrome inspector, etc.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
