Job Description
Responsible for food service and direct order form the site supervisor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure dining area and equipment – Serving line, tables, table top, and chairs are properly cleaned and sanitized as required. Should be wiped to remove food particles, smudge and liquid.
- Welcomes customers when they arrive at a dining area, cafe, or any eating stablishment.
- Ensure the correct serving portion is followed up as per SOP.
- Establish and maintain a good relationship with the colleagues / co-workers.
- Ensure the implementation of HACCP plans related to the division
- Constant attention to Safe Work Practices, immediately addressing any unsafe act witnessed.
- Perform other task as instructed by the Site Supervisor.
- Introduces customers to the menu and announces daily or seasonal menu specials
- Familiarize the menu and answers questions about menu items, ingredients and etc.
- Passes customer orders along to kitchen staff for preparation
- Prepares drinks and serves them to customers
- Collects food orders from the kitchen, verifies that they are correct, and serves them to customers
- Ensures that customers are satisfied with their meals and processes orders for additional courses if necessary
- Removes used dishes, glasses, and flatware from tables
- Sets tables with dishes, glasses, and flatware and refills condiments
- Maintains familiarity with menu items, specials, and restaurant information.
- Suggest additional menu items, such as desserts and drinks, when appropriate
- Operate the beverage section and coffee station
- Follow, imply and maintain all ISO standards and requirements
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years’ work experience.
- High school diploma
- Capable of working well under pressure
- No Formal Education Required, Physical Strength and Physical Stamina.
- Attention to Detail and Ability to Multitask
- Excellent in Written and Verbal Communication.
- Excellent in Customer Service Skills, Interpersonal Communication and Teamwork.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure with Positive Attitude.
- Familiarity With Alcohol Restrictions or Laws.
