About the job:
- The candidate expected to support the implementation and provision of emergency shelter activities within conflict-affected communities for vulnerable populations including migrant and refugees, Libyan Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and returnee communities.
- Conduct site assessment of targeted collective/informal/ and household level shelters and submit assessment reports.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BoQs) and participate in defining project scope and preparing tender technical documents package.
- Support in vendors selection committee’s process.
- Conducting monitoring field visits to the ongoing activities using DRC- shelter standardized tools.
- Internal coordination with other team sectors for any referred cases or representing shelter sector in joint assessment visits.
About you:
- To be successful in this role, we expect you to support in identifying, assessing and supporting the targeted beneficiaries also, in additions, to have a high level of responsibility and commitment by demonstrating full adhere to the organization’s operation.
Required:
- University degree in civil engineering or similar field.
- At least 2 years of experience in project implementation including an experience with INGO/or NGO providing humanitarian shelter/infrastructure assistance.
- Previous experience in conducting assessments and preparing BoQs and Tender package.
- Good level of computer literacy especially MS office (experience with mobile data management tools preferred).
- Good Reporting and language skills.
- Results- oriented.
Desirable
- Prior experience with similar role or projects in humanitarian sector.

We offer:
Contract length: 6 Months contract with possibility of extension based on performance and fund.
Designation of Duty Station: Tripoli
Start date: 01. July. 2021,(based on secured fund)
