Job Title: MEAL Technical Assistant – CBFRM
Location: Tripoli – Libya
Reports To: Country MEAL Manager
Job Summary
The MEAL Technical Assistant – CBFRM plays a key role in ensuring the effective implementation and monitoring of the Community-Based Feedback and Response Mechanism (CBFRM) within the organization. The role encompasses data collection, analysis, reporting, and the promotion of accountability and learning across programs and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. CBFRM Implementation:
– Assist in the development and roll-out of CBFRM tools and mechanisms.
– Support the integration of CBFRM into various projects and activities across different sectors.
2. Data Collection and Analysis:
– Collect and manage data related to beneficiary feedback and complaints.
– Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
– Generate regular reports on feedback and complaints for programmatic decision-making.
3. Accountability Promotion:
– Promote a culture of beneficiary accountability within the organization.
– Conduct awareness sessions and training to ensure beneficiaries understand how to provide feedback and raise complaints.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
– Work closely with project teams, MEAL officers, and program managers to ensure that feedback and complaints are addressed effectively.
– Collaborate with the Accountability Advisor or Coordinator to align efforts with organizational goals.
5. Learning and Improvement:
– Assist in conducting learning reviews and after-action reviews to improve project quality based on feedback.
– Provide recommendations for program adjustments and improvements.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain accurate records of feedback and complaint data.
– Prepare and present clear and concise reports to management and stakeholders.
7. Capacity Building:
– Train and build the capacity of field staff in CBFRM principles and best practices.
– Ensure staff are aware of the CBFRM processes and their roles in the mechanism.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, international development, etc.).
– Proven experience in MEAL or a related field, with specific experience in CBFRM being an asset.
– Strong data collection and analysis skills.
– Excellent communication and training skills.
– Familiarity with data management software and tools.
– Ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse stakeholders.
