Liaison Officer – Benghazi

Position Title: Liaison Officer.

Position Reports to: Benghazi Field Site Manager.

Field Site: Benghazi (With field trips to nearby municipalities).

Date Needed: 1st December, 2020.

Essential Job Duties/Scope Of Work:

Liaison Officer is responsible for ensuring proper communication as well as cooperation between IMC and Local Authorities, including facilitating the necessary governmental procedures of registration renewal, agreements and memorandum of understanding.
Other tasks included but not limited to;

• Liaise with government authorities regarding IMC activities, including the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Interior.
  
• Maintain a strong work relationship with the governmental authorities
  
• Obtain the necessary permits needed to work in health facilities in different municipalities in the eastern region, including security and accessibility permits.
  
• Processing of IMC Registration in Benghazi with CCS.
  
• Processing of International staff’s entry/exit visa & work permit.
  
• Other necessary documents for submission to the immigration authority.
  
• Assist the security manager in conducting security assessments.
  
• Assist the security manager and the field manager in various office errands whenever needed.
  
• Liaise with Banking institutes.
  
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification:

(Training/education/experience/physical demands required; provide 6-8 requirements):

• English speaking reading and writing.
  
• Excellent relationships with Government depts. At senior level.
  
• BSc / MSc degree.
  
• Computer literate.
  
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel.
