This role has a country focus and ensures compliance to DRC procedures and guidelines within the country. The role contributes to the development of country strategies, which are translated into action plans and day-to-day tasks. The role provides support and/or technical guidance to country operations while overseeing country activities. |
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
Main responsibilities |
Management • Lead and manage the team (including people planning, performance, well-being and development) • Ensure effective planning and quality implementation of the sector/support activities • Ensure daily monitoring of area • Asses the daily quality • Provide technical support and inputs • Reporting General Human Resources tasks Initial focal point for dealing with matters which ae contrary to DRC HR Regulations and handles further if instructed by supervisor. Compensations & benefits Manages Health Insurance for Staff, liaises with company and acts as intermediate with staff. Development, people planning, recruitment and well-being |
As Team Leader the post-holder is responsible for the following: • Accountable for people management of employees, usually working in the same area of work • Accountable for ensuring that agreed work plans and tasks set by the next-level up Manager are implemented on time • Hiring and termination of employees and conducting performance appraisals (closely overseen by the next-level manager) |
About you

Required experience and competencies |
• Minimum 3 years’ of relevant experience in Human Resources management, administration, change management, and/or organizational development • Proven management skills and a competence in people management • Commitment to learning and implementing organizational policies and procedures • Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Technical skills in managing compensation and benefits • (I)NGO experience is preferred Experience using an online system for recruitments • Full professional proficiency in English All DRC roles require the post-holder to master DRC’s core competencies: |
