Brief Description:
We are an Oil Service Company in Libya and a subsidiary of the most prominent private group in the country.
The group is currently looking to fulfill the position of GM for its Oil Service operations in Libya.
The ideal candidate is an Oil Engineer professional who will demonstrate outstanding management and leadership skills to build and lead the team to achieve company goals. The GM will be reporting to BoDs, and will develop and supervise the implementation of all plans to sustain growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
•Manage and empower staff. Build an organizational structure that should be result oriented.
•Lead the development of strategic and operational plans, in collaboration with Department heads and the board.

Supervise the proper implementation of plans and monitor staff performance |
• |
Build and supervise a sales team in order to achieve agreed annual sales target |
•Responsible for developing and maintaining sound financial practices to control expenses within budgeted outlines and achieves annual forecasted profits
•Direct the preparations of the annual budgets
Qualifications
•At least 10 years senior management experience in the same field, ideally with international operation
•A firm grasp of the principles and practices involved in effective leadership and management.
• Leads by example and encourages creativity and productive approach
•Experience in working in a non-hierarchical leadership position, in a network based organization
•Proven experience in preparing an annual budgets and in financial and operations management
• Ability to chart strategic directions that result in clear operational goals
•Excellent English written and communication skills
•Firm commitment to the mission and our organization
