Oil & Gas Production Company is seeking to hire a Fire Fighter in Field – (onshore desert)

The Field Fire Fighter keeping all fire and rescue tools & equipment ready for use, responding to all emergency call during and after working hours.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain cleanness and tidiness of fire station
• Check and inspect firefighting equipment and ensure it is ready for use
• Updating records and lists for fire equipment
• Attend all refresher trainings and fire and emergency drills
• Be ready to respond to emergency call during and after working hours
• Follow fire chief and subleader instruction
• With the help from other fire team members set the necessary firefighting equipment to control the emergency case as instructed by fire chief or leader
• Perform rescue & firefighting as directed by fire chief or leader.
• Makeup all fire and rescue equipment after controlling the emergency

PLUS  –   ANY OTHER APPROPRIATE DUTIES.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years minimum experience in petrochemical firefighting and rescue
• Basic & advanced petrochemical firefighting certificate
• Breathing apparatus wearer training certificate
• Basic first aid certificate.
• Able to provide practical advice and solutions
• Good knowledge of English language, and technical terms
• Must be computer literate and familiar with MS Office software, email and internet.
• Driving license.

• Communications skills, the ability to professionally communicate with direct reporting team members and line managers.
• English fluency both spoken and written
• Problem-Solving.
• Creativity.
• Able to work and think across a range of disciplines
