Job Description
- Supervise and monitor the implementation of CP Case Management, awareness sessions and CP related activities at Community Development Centers and Social Center;
- Provide the CP team with technical guidance, capacity building and direction for effective planning, implementation and monitoring of CP activities;
- Preparing a weekly work plans for CP unit and ensure that all activities are line with the plan;
- Being focal point for CP external and internal referrals and for CP cash panels;
- Coordinate home visits for case management cases when/if needed along with CBP outreach focal points;
- Conduct weekly coordination and case management supervision meetings with case workers, and revise the open cases;
- Supervise CP Case Workers and liaise with psychologists and activities coordinators for work planning;
- Draft/review regular reports received from staff members and submission to CP Specialist;
- Regularly updating relevant databases and tools;
- Ensure the compliance of CW with CP Standard Operating Procedures (Sops);
- Respect Cesvi’s Standard Operating Procedures, Child Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct, PSEA Policy;
- Participate at CP Working Groups, team meetings and trainings;
- Represent Cesvi in a professional manner in meetings and ensure effective cooperation with local partners and other relevant actors;
- Fulfil any additional tasks as requested by the CP Specialist.
Job Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field: Social work, law & human rights, International Development, International Relations, Political Science. Masters degree or other professional certification is desirable.
Professional experience - Minimum of 3 years of supervisory job experience relevant to the function in a comparable environment with non-governmental organizations (UNHCR experience is a definite asset).
- Tangible and demonstrable experience in the protection field
- Broad knowledge of characteristics relevant to conflict-affected or post- conflict contexts.
- Experience in functional and line management of staff in complex environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, cross-cultural communication and ease in managing a multi-cultural team.
- Good team leadership and conflict resolution skills, consensus team building, and adaptability.
Skills:
- High level of IT skills (Office package)
- Good oral and written English
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work cooperatively
- Solid diplomatic skills: the ability to manage a variety of internal and external relationships, especially with partners.
- Self-motivated, able to take initiative, resilient and able to work independently.
- Flexible and with a positive attitude.
