Back-end Developer

Hello everyone! TechLines is looking for a Back-end Developer to join its team. You got what it takes?

If you have excellent coding logic skills and a passion for solving a wide variety of coding and technical challenges, you would want to meet us.

Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable code and processes to meet our company’s needs.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks, so your skillset needs to be diverse and your ability to learn and adapt to different requirements of the team is essential.

• Document/create processes.
• Communicating any new features or processes with the team.
• Write clean, easily maintainable, modular code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Perform backend tests to optimize performance.
• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Gather and address technical and design requirements.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Follow emerging technologies.
• Integrate and maintain various API connections.

Requirements:

• Experience with PHP 7+.
• Experience with object-oriented frameworks (Laravel).
• Experience with Vue.js is a plus.
• Experience with database design, e.g. SQL and NoSQL.
• Excellent communication skills geared towards communicating with both technical and non-technical parts of the team, acting as translator where needed.
• Proven work experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
• Ability to find patterns to automate redundant manual tasks.
• Excellent analytical and time management skills.
• Teamwork skills with a resourceful problem-solving attitude.
• Experience using git.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
