WordPress Developer and Admin

Job Description

We’re looking for a WordPress developer that can work on both the backend and frontend, as well as create WordPress themes and plugins. This role necessitates a mix of coding (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) as well as aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the colour and font choices, and so on). The ideal applicant would be well-versed in industry trends as well as content management systems. It is greatly desirable if you have prior experience with responsive and adaptable design. It’s also preferable if you have a good grasp of the full web development process, from design to development to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Creating and deploying new features and functions
• Creating and directing the architecture of the website
• Managing all technical components of the CMS and ensuring excellent performance and availability
• Assisting with the creation of a functional, responsive design and editing theme and plugin to create new themes for future use
• Maintain system requirements and testing of functionalities
• Communicate with marketing and digital personals to provide highest quality functionality
• Making sure themes, application and functionality are all in sync over whole website
• Monitoring performance
• Help in idea generation and mind mapping of increasing efficient functionality
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to requirement gather and to scope projects

Qualification

• Good proven understanding of front-end development (CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, PHP etc.)
• Previous experience using Chrome Inspector, CPM, DFP, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel etc.
• Able to provide some sort of portfolio of previous experience
• Excellent WordPress technical experience especially with themes and plugins
• Organised, detail oriented, communication, creative
• Experience in using ads (Facebook, Instagram, Adsense etc.)</li?
• Robust understanding of security implications
• Version Control (Git)
