Wellhead Maintenance Technician

JOB TITLE	Wellhead Maintenance Technician

DEPARTMENT	Well Services field (Production Technology Dept)

REPORTS TO:	Wellhead maintenance Supervisor /Well Services Superintendent

LOCATION	Area 91 & 107	28/28 or 14/14 rotation

OBJECTIVES OF JOB

To provide onsite assistance on Wellhead maintenance activities, like valve greasing, SSSV testing, X-mas tree & valves installation and pressure testing additionally repairing & maintaining defected equipment at the well service workshop… etc.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. HSE performance

· Ensure that all activities are executed in accordance with company Safety Procedures, incl. Permit to Work system, and relevant Wellservices procedures and guidelines.

· Ensure all equipment on location is fit for safe operation as per company standards.

2. Key deliverables

· Provide on-the-job assistance for all Wellhead maintenance activities.

· Provide logistics by supplying the required materials to the wellsite

3. Business Integrity

· Strive to execute all activities on a “right first-time” basis.

· Complete all activities that ensure asset integrity of the wells as per specified plans and identify areas of concern immediately.

· Ensure that activities are executed in adherence to programmes and operational procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

Diploma Degree is minimum required level, Libyan Petroleum Institute Graduates are preferred, or equivalent Petroleum Engineering and/or relevant working history of 10 years in Wellhead Maintenance area.
Hardworking person, fit for physical work, proper mentality towards getting work done, always adhere to HSE and technical procedures
Superior mindset for HSE performance
Sound mechanical mind
Willingness to learn/improve English and to attend technical/HSE courses
Willingness to accept varying hours if necessary
Full, valid driving license

Experience

Several years experience in assistance of logistics and/or technical work
10 years’ experience at least in Wellhead Maintenance area.

The successful candidate will have had experience in assisting in physical, hands-on work in a desert environment.
