JOB TITLE	Well Services Supervisor

DEPARTMENT	Well Services field (Production Technology Dept)

REPORTS TO:	Well Services Superintendent

LOCATION	Libya (field based)	28/28 or 14/14 rotation

OBJECTIVES OF JOB

To provide onsite supervision of Well Services operations to achieve the SOO’s well intervention objectives & requirements in a safe manner.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. HSE performance

· Ensure that all activities are executed in accordance with company Safety Procedures, incl. Permit to Work system, and relevant Wellservices procedures and guidelines.

· Ensure all equipment on location is fit for safe operation as per company standards.

2. Key deliverables

· Perform on-the-job supervision for all Well Services activities such as slickline, E-line, coiled tubing and workover, thereby achieving company objectives at the highest HSE standards.

· Provide comprehensive reports of supervised well interventions.

· Provide on the job assistance and training.

3. Business Integrity

· Strive to execute all activities on a “right first-time” basis. Endorse the mindset on “continuous improvement” in all activities.

· Complete all activities that ensure integrity of the wells as per specified plans and identify areas of concern immediately.

· Ensure that activities are executed in adherence to programmes and operational procedures. Assist with development of programs and procedures where required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

Hardworking intelligent person, proper mentality towards getting work done, adhere to HSE and technical procedures at all times
Superior mindset on HSE performance
Sound mechanical mind
Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
Educated to Bachelor level or equivalent standard (preferred)
Willingness to accept varying hours if necessary
Full, valid driving license
Must be in possession of a Valid IWCF certificate (Well Intervention) – can be obtained after joining company

Experience

A minimum of 10 years industry experience in well services operations, preferably with an oilfield services contractor.
Onsite operational supervisory experience, minimum of 5 years (10 preferred) as Well Intervention Supervisor, Well service Rig-up supervisor, DST & Testing Supervisor.
Operational Experience in the Well Interventions activities (Slickline, E-line and Coiled tubing), Workovers and Completion operation.
Experience in other Well Services activities is an advantage.
Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment is an advantage.

OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will have had extensive experience in all aspects of Well Services operations and supervising Well Services activities.
