Job Description
To ensure successful participation in the customer tender process and the offer submission as well as to build relationships and business opportunities with new clients, we are looking for a committed and personable Tender Specialist. The Tender Specialist will be reporting to the Business development and sales Manager.
Job Responsibility
- Develop new business relations and seek for new opportunities for the company
- Study tenders to understand the nature of projects and contracts to prepare tender documentation and coordinate obtaining the required information.
- Prepare material selection from different suppliers’ portfolio to best match the tender aspects.
- Make sure that the quotations comply with the required and provided Specifications
- Generate the financial proposals and follow up the preparation of the technical proposal and items selection.
- Preparation and observing the bid submission timeline.
- Perform quantity take-off for lump sum projects or items.
- Finalize the Commercial and technical Offer including priced BOQ in compliance with the appropriate engineering standards, codes, specifications, design instructions, etc.
- Stay abreast of and communicate any changes in contractual requirements.
- Maintain tender files and arranges their archiving upon Tender completion.
- Prepare Tenders status reports and expected timelines on a regular basis and when requested.
Job requirements
- Bachelor`s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 2 years or relative experience
- Excellent level of English language (Written and Speaking)
- Advanced level of using Microsoft office (Word, Excel and MS project)
