JOB TITLE:   Engineer

JOB TYPE:     Full-time

Work LOCATION:    Libya ( Local travel to various worksites is required).

2. Assignments

• Installation of 3 Indoor cabinets including all cables and wiring with proper labeling and site clean up
• Prepare feeder connectors and sealing sets for:-
• DIN (7/8”): 6 Connectors
• N-Type: 6 Connectors
• Fix 30 feeder clamps on tower
• Fitting a pulley and rope on the tower safely and correctly (Lead and perform)
• Lift 5 Antennas & 6 Feeders on tower via rope & pulley (Lead and Perform)
• Assemble 6 GSM antennas and/or 3 microwave dishes correctly and efficiently. (0.6m & 1.2m)
• Fix and install 4 GSM Antennas & 3 MW Dishes on the tower with correct technical requirements, i.e. azimuth, tilt, height etc.

• Complete Labeling for 2 Sites

• Perform MW Alignment for 3 Hops
• Prepare 3 Site Surveys with their reports
• Prepare 3 LOS reports using Pathloss
• Conduct MW- LOS for 3 Hops, identifying possible obstacles
• Commission 3 BTSs
• Commission 3 Transmission Equipment (Including E1 Table and Routing)
• Prepare at least 3 SQIR and 3 HSEIR per month

• Perform Complete Site Survey to 3 Buildings (IBS)
• Take Responsibility of a Building Starting from approaching building POC, arranging for Survey and completing design using iBwave without major findings.
• Performing Walk test using NEMO, starting up the handset, measuring RF signal, etc.
• Preparing Verification Report for IBS
• Drive Testing 2 Sites including setting up TEMS, GPS, etc.
• Post processing 2 Sites and finalizing the report
• Break-out project documentation, presentation.

• Working on heights (Able to climb green field towers up to 60m) Cutting feeder 7/8” Air form Coaxial Cable. Handling/ loading / cutting feeder.
• Able to use the sealing set correctly and according to company standards and understanding its purpose
• Aware of the procedure of how to fit a pulley and rope on the tower, safely and correctly.
• Has a solid understanding of how to communicate with those working up on the tower and those on the ground.
• Able to create labels correctly for all equipment i.e. cables, jumpers etc.
• Able to place the correct parameters according to the benchmarked documents i.e. microwave alignment etc.
• Has a thorough understanding on the complete procedure of microwave alignment and displaying his proficiency through practical work.
• Display responsibility in regards to site cleanup.
• Aware of the value of the tools used and how to keep them clean and safe all time
• Assists other team members in collecting tools including rope and left over materials
• Proactive in his work with a positive attitude.
• Able to coordinate with the team, plan ahead and execute according to plan

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in the Electronic & Electrical Dept / Mechanical Dept / Computer Dept.

Experience:

• 1-2 years’ experience in the required position.

Skills:

• Strong work ethic and dependable.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Able to prepare technical reports.
• Fluent Arabic & Intermediate English level.
