Job Purpose
– To strategize, lead, and provide direction to (GBC) Supply Chain and Technical team. Responsible for managing the full cycle of the process of providing the goods to customers from the issuance of the supply orders until the delivery of the goods within the beneficiaries, and the documents required for collection for the financial management, including purchases, customs clearance, policy release, warehousing, and distribution, in addition to the activities of bids and tenders with the highest efficiency and lowest cost.
– Upgrading On Ground Technical capabilities for people and machines.
– Full responsibility for production, and technical functions
Key Accountabilities
- – Manage Technical and operations team
– Lead the transformation and moving GBC from trouble shouting organization to fully organized process-oriented organization with schedule maintenance programs, continuity of production to reduce the cost per case to an acceptable level, as well as improve and department capabilities.
– Integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process.
-Identify systems tools needed to implement planning/forecasting systems. Lead reengineering efforts as it relates to supply chain planning and execution systems.
– Works effectively across the organization to ensure successful execution of supply chain support on many integrated efforts
– Manage and supervise staff tasked with creating requirement plans and/or forecasts.
– Measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to senior management.
– Defines integrated logistics support requirements.
– Coordinates development of solutions to complex logistics support problems with other product support functions, customers, and suppliers.
– Coordinates transportation for the corporation with customer-driven manufacturing timelines.
– Develops and implements plans inclusive End to End SC excellency.
– Reviews reports regarding inventory levels and pricing strategies to ensure efficient use of resources
– Guiding, Directing, and Motivating Subordinates — Providing guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
– Approves and follows-up on the implementation of training and development plan for the Supply Chain team.
Qualifications (Education & Work Experience)
– 10-15 years of experience with at least 5 years in a similar position.
– Bachelor degree from any discipline and additional post-graduate
certifications are required.
