Sr. Mechanical Technician (Libyan only)

GENERAL ACTIVITIES

Operations

• Performs daily work activity and repairs of Mechanical equipment
• Assistance FOREMAN in management of MECHANICAL JUNIOR, scheduling and recording
  of inspections and maintenance operations.
• Assist specialists working under specific contract (for example Major Overhaul of Gas/Diesel Generators .)
• Ensures that all mechanic spare parts are correctly stored
• Performing the weekly test of mechanical part, Emergency Diesel Generator,
• Emergency Starting Air Compressor, Fire Fighting Pumps, all as per procedures

Maintenance

• Following Maintenance procedures in place:
• Visually checks the condition of equipment (Accommodation / Engine Room & Process)
• Performs Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 maintenance on the equipment
• Visually inspect the safety equipment and reports any anomaly
• Maintenance / overhaul of small & medium rotating and reciprocating equipment,
  pipelines, valves & vessels
• Light / basic mechanical construction (Light piping work, welding, etc.)
• Able to work independently in the workshop with a welding, lathe machine, milling, grinding machines & other cutting and electrical tools.
• Use of pressure relief valve testing bench
• Handling & Maintenance of crane
  Helicopter Operation
• Performs duties as fire fighter during Helicopter Operations

Qualifications

• Technical mechanical background and education
• 5 years’ experience in a Mechanical maintenance environment
• Fluency in English
