OBJECTIVES OF JOB
| The Instrumentation Supervisor Programmer is responsible for ensuring that all of the data transmitting equipment is installed, calibrated, maintained and fully functioning. The job scope extends to all the WILI facilities in A91 and A107 He is implements new or modifies existing software, running in the distributed PLC’s of the companies network, does the regular service and maintenance on the servers and assists during troubleshooting. |
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
| – Take responsibility for all regulating and transmitting equipment including: flow transmitters and switches; pressure transmitters, regulators and switches; temperature transmitters and switches; level transmitters.
– Take responsibility for control systems lower than 230V AC. – Take responsibility for all Eex/ia work. – Take responsibility for compressor control systems i.e. vibration and compressor motor panel control. – Ensure all a/c-related work is carried out swiftly. – Perform all activities on the DCS system, Siemens PCS7systems. – Maintain and troubleshoot all control network systems. – Take responsibility for electrical panel cable termination works. – Take a leading role for in-house projects, from complete planning, documentation to implementation, commissioning and handover. |

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
| – Minimum 12 years of experience on programming of PLC software
– Experience with configuration, programming, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of Siemens S5, S7 and PCS7 systems – Good knowledge of PC software eg. MS office – Valid certificate of competence for work on equipment in hazardous areas will be helpful |
