British Council Libya is looking for Senior Programme Manager to join our team.

Purpose of job:

The Senior Programme Manager will manage the EU-funded “EU for Civil Society Libya” Programme administered by the British Council (value 5.5 million EUR over three years). S/he will provide oversight and leadership of project management, contract management, business management and delivery management standards to achieve excellence across this project.

S/he will act as the lead project role, co-ordinating internal and external resources to meet business targets, delivery milestones and client deadlines. Using the British Council’s standards, policies and frameworks, the project manager will ensure that the EU for Civil Society Libya Programme is managed in a way that maximises profitability, client satisfaction, compliance with British Council internal policy, compliance with the EU contractual requirements and contribution to cultural relations impact.
