Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Road Designer
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for
the design and development of road infrastructure projects in
compliance with American standards (AASHTO, FHWA, DOT
guidelines). This role requires extensive experience in road design,
geometric alignment, pavement design, and traffic engineering to
ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and sustainable
transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Led the design and development of road infrastructure
projects, ensuring compliance with AASHTO, FHWA, and
state DOT standards.
• Prepare and review geometric designs, pavement
structures, intersection layouts, and road safety
assessments.
• Conduct traffic analysis, drainage considerations, and
grading designs as part of the road development process.
• Utilize industry-leading software such as AutoCAD Civil
3D, Openroads, Infraworks, and GIS applications for
design and modeling.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, including
structural, geotechnical, and environmental engineers to
ensure integrated design solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design
documentation for project approvals.
• Conduct quality control and assurance reviews to
maintain design accuracy and compliance.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and government
agencies to present designs, gather feedback, and ensure
project success.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in road
design, materials, and construction techniques as per
American transportation standards.
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering,
Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in road and highway
design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in American road design standards, including
AASHTO Green Book, FHWA guidelines, MUTCD, and
state-specific DOT standards.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred (or ability
to obtain).
• Experience in preparing contract documents, technical
reports, and cost estimates.
• Familiarity with environmental and geotechnical
considerations in road design.
Skills & Abilities • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, OpenRoads,
MicroStation, Revit, and other road design software.
• Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and
provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills, with
the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to interact
with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and
accuracy in design deliverables.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a
collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
