Security Risk Analyst (SRA)

As member of the team, the Local Security Risk Analyst assists in monitoring, analyzing and assessing the Project Area of Operation and related environment to better help finding and mitigating security risks.

·         Providing specific analysis products as required by the project Security Management Team

·         Provide direct, timely and detailed information and analysis of local events.

·         Provide a general overview of the country and regional threat state

·         Provide context analysis, potential scenario and mitigation measures

·         Analyzing security incidents throughout the specific assigned duty area.

·         Conduct regular site visits for security assessments.

·         Foster and communicate an in-depth understanding of the security situation to advise and enable project implementation in the duty area.

·         Monitor and analyze open-source information (press, news channels, social media, etc.) as well as security sector information.

·         Advising and overseeing the running and operations of specific area.

• Higher education, university degree in defense and/or security

• Security professional with a proven significant experience in Security Analysis within the privet security industry, the public sector or armed services, Minimum experience of 3 years.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Risk Analyst
• Knowledge of risk assessment tools
• Excellent communication/Reporting skills
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
• Excellent knowledge of the Libyan context
• The ability to work in a high-stress environment
• Be reactive and proactive
