Duties and Responsibilities
- Record sales and clear the customer account, maintain the record of collections and booking in General Ledger Account.
- Prepare the invoices to the clients and responsible for maintaining the Account receivable record.
- Compare the issued and refunded tickets.
- Keep up to date regarding the contract renewal and posting.
- Work closely with Sales team on status of existing customer accounts.
- Research cash receipts, coding and the posting of receipts.
- Participate in the month-end close process with the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and various analyses, Deferred Revenue and Revenue by Customer reconciliations and analyses
- Review all expenses and preparing the invoices or credit notes, chartered any flights, or the regular flights, and coordinate another expenses or payments.
- Cooperate with other financial sectors to finalize all tasks.
- Manage Revenue Accounting System.
- Manage Ticket Proration through revenue accounting system in accordance with filling rules.
- Assist in development and implementation of new and/or upgraded financial systems.
- Ensure adherence to revenue recognition policies and procedures.
- Data capture and processing of flight coupon data for the accountancy and balance of an airline.
- Daily closing the revenue with treasure Officer and send daily reports to CFO.
- Fully compliance with the Commercial Department of the crown Airline.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- A creative problem-solver and the ability to take calculated risks and assume responsibility for results.
- Ability to extract, interpret, and present large quantities of data in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Strong ability to collaborate with different departments outside of accounting.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural & multi-site environment.
- Ability to priorities and be proactive.
- Strong knowledge of reservation systems and operating procedures for reserving air tickets.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance / accounting (preferably in aviation).
- Bachelor in Accounting or equivalent.
