Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

Prepare an assessment of all executed quantities of work activities at the site according to the approved document to review, which will be submitted by the contractor. Preparing cost breakdown for lump sum items. Review monthly payments submitted from the contractor. Analyzing Executed/installed quantities to be compared with planned. Preparing detailed Weekly, Monthly progress reports for clients. Tracking physical progress and plotting/charting data. Preparing and analyzing commercial bid submittals.

Job Requirements

• price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
• prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
• procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
• measure and value the work done on site
• liaise with the client and other construction professionals,
• select and/or source construction materials
• write reports.
