QAQC Supervisor

Job Description

The QA/QC Supervisor demonstrates extensive knowledge of processes, codes, and job specifications and has the ability to perform routine QA/QC inspections as required. The QA/QC Supervisor shall be knowledgeable in QA/QC equipment operations and associated documentation of inspections and testing. Maintains knowledge and proficiency. Responsible for oversight and education of individuals, and working in a manner that is consistent with the policies, mission, vision, and values

Activities:

• Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity
• knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, mechanic, and E/I construction works discipline.
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificate, calibration, test results, inspection requests, and non-compliance reports.
• Taking care of QA/QC document of the entire project including site instruction, observation, permanent material delivered …ect.
• Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures.
• Oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.
• Review the quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications.
• Collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain the quality of materials.
• Supervise effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules.
• Ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
• Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all quality manuals and procedures.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.
• Manage to lift of all types of equipment and handle the efficient storage of all hazardous materials.
• Perform quality audits as per the required schedule.
• Analyze all products and non-conformance processes and evaluate all documents.
• Ensure the maintenance of optimal quality and prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.
• Monitor an efficient system and record for all project activities.
• Analyze all processes to ensure all work is according to quality requirements.
• Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards.
• Monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for all processes.
• Develop a method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety.
• Develop environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
• Liaise the Projects department for submission of material submittals to clients.
• Coordinate with the clients representative and Site In-charge for inspection.
• Report to the Quality Manager.
• Control, and monitor all activities related to Quality.
• Perform any other work orders required by the company in projects and planning/projects matters.
• Check Welders’ Qualifications.
• Ensure that all inspections and controls are carried out according to ITPs.
• Prepare the final dossier for activities (welding, painting, sandblasting, Civil Instruments.etc) .
• Collecting and data and analysis related to welding /Welder Repair activities.
• Support the Site Manager in collecting the lessons learned data conduct the internal audit as per the Quality Manager’s request.
• Reporting the daily, weekly , and monthly Quality site activities report

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any related field.

Ability to perform tasks in the office or site as required.

10 years experience in EPC in EPC projects in the oil and gas field as QAQC Supervisor.
