Summary

Arena Libya Construction Company is an EPC construction company, established in the Libyan Oil & Gas sector, as well as the infrastructure and water treatment industries. We are looking for experienced and qualified Project Managers to join our team. This role in ultimately responsible for the overall success of the assigned Project, based on budget factors, scheduling and ensuring the client’s needs and expectations are met.

Job Description & Responsibilities

The Project Manager is to be assigned at the very start of a Project timeline and is responsible for the overall management of all aspects of the project. At the same time, the Project Manager will act as our company representative and be the first point of contact for the client, for which it is essential that the Project Manager is well-informed and knowledgeable on the different areas of the project.

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Reviewing and implementing client’s needs and specifications
• Act as Company Representative for the project, taking on feedback and queries from the client, and implementing project adjustments and modifications as required
• Monitor and supervise the delivery of the project, ensuring that timeline, budget and operational protocols are abided by
• Develop the Project Execution Plan, ensuring that the client’s methods and standards are met, as well as complying to Company protocols (QA/QC and HSE)
• Develop interim Progress Reports that detail the status of each area of work, including incidents and possible modifications, to be submitted to the Company as-needed
• Prepare and deliver project documentation, in assistance and coordination with our Technical and Administration Departments

Skills & Qualifications

• Languages: High-level of English expected
• Excellent communication skills to be able to carry out liaisons with clients, partners and sub-contractors
• Strong project management and organisation skills to manage the different parties involved
• Excellent writing and technical reporting skills, often required to convey complex ideas in a brief and clear format
• Technical expertise in the Oil & Gas construction industry is expected
• Experience and confidence to work in a pressurised environment, dealing with client demands and requirements while meeting deadlines
• Proficient in general Microsoft Office programs. Experience using MS Word and MS Excel spreadsheets is required.
