PRODUCT SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION

 

As a product specialist, your duties may include assessing customer needs, monitoring product lifecycle, and creating detailed reports on product information. You may also perform customer research, stay on top of current trends, and analyze the market. The career requires extensive knowledge of sales, marketing, customer service, and product development in addition to the company’s specific industry.

Essential Job Responsibilities

The PS performs the major functions listed below. The position may require additional duties/responsibilities that may not be outlined below, and specific functions are subject to change.

 1-Analyze competitive marketplace and industry trends to achieve company revenue goals

2-Assist in new product launches activities

3-Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.

4-Keeping up to date on product knowledge of business partners and market dynamics

5-Working as a member of the team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area.

Qualifications & Requirements

The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to successfully perform this role. However, any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training, which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities, would be acceptable, subject to any legal and/or regulatory requirements.

 Bachelor’s degree in a related medical field with one or more-year experiences in a related Pharmaceutical company

Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based

Proven record of being reliable and accountable for all aspects of their job.

  • Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.

  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Decision-making, problem-resolution, and creative thinking skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task activities and work productively in a pressurized environment.
  • Ethical and trustworthy.

Working Conditions

  • Working in the Field with visits to Cancer Centres, hospitals, and private institutions.
  • May have periodic work on weekends and extended hours during weekdays.
