· Collect and verifying time sheets.
· Prepare and ensure employee salaries are on time and accurate. · Calculate bonuses and allowances. · Schedule and follow up on bank payments and hand out paychecks directly to employees. · Prepare and distribute pay slips and gather signed receipts (digital or paper). · File relevant reports and documents as needed. · Ensure wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations. · Maintain tax status of employees. · Enter employee information into internal databases. · Answer questions about payroll compensation, benefits, taxes and insurance deductions. · Maintain accurate records of payments made to employees. · Keep track of pay periods, hourly wages, salaries, overtime, sick days and vacation days of employees. · Liaise with the HR department and accounts department to ensure accurate information for payment. · Utilize computer software for data entry and accounts management. · Verify employee records and consult departments in the event of a discrepancy. |
