Packaging Maintenance Section Head

Duties & Responsibilities

9. To organize the Filling and downstream maintenance section
10. To manage maintenance engineers and technicians according to their skills and capacity
11. To manage Filling and Downstream machines Preventive Maintenance such as Weekly care, 4000H, 8000H and 16’000H Preventive Maintenance schedules according to running time
12. To work on existing Maintenance Database and keep on records all the work done and improve for better benefit
13. To understand when to schedule and apply the work plan depending to Production Plan
14. To keep the Production Total Efficiency at minimum rate of 85% and higher
15. To prevent repeated issues and stoppage of production machines
16. Maintain the Top and Bottom sealing in standard and prevent any leakage of the package from Filling up to final product packaging
17. To prevent any risk of contaminants when handling the machine in minimal adjustments and settings
18. To keep all machines well cleaned and coordinate with production team the proper machine handling for longer spare parts shelf life
19. To do routine inspections coordinate with Production Team in daily machine status and snag list
20. To give assignment to packaging maintenance checklist and machine evaluations
21. To lead the planning of corrective maintenance and machine improvements during the short stoppages
22. To manage the spare parts and material needed on each machines preventive maintenance and consumables
23. To coordinate with Spare Parts Store, Local and Overseas purchasing in finding the cheaper options but high quality parts as alternative to expensive spare parts and tools
24. Monitor daily spare parts and materials consumption reports from the store
25. Re-use and repair the spare parts that can be fixed to save cost
26. Study weak spare parts and search for better alternative to save downtime and consumptions
27. To discuss with Maintenance Manager the section daily status and plans in maintaining the high productivity
28. To manage the maintenance engineers and technicians evaluations and submit recommendations for improvement
29. To conduct meeting weekly with maintenance supervisors and engineers to discuss points for improvement of the production machines
30. To do refreshment training to old and new maintenance engineers
31. To discipline manpower with bad work attitude and report it to Maintenance Management
32. To manage work schedules, leave and vacations compatible to production plan
33. To create and maintain good work environment and follow the higher management instructions always

Job Requirements

1. Experience & Qualifications

      Must be a college graduate in any fields of engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial

5. Must have 10-15 years as a Head Maintenance in Milk and Juice manufacturing
6. Has good experience in Combibloc or Tetra Pak production lines
7. Has good computer skills and can read and write in English and Arabic language
