Job Description
- Responsibility: Oversee and manage all aspects of ortho products, ensuring they meet market demands and align with company objectives.
- Sales Execution and Market Share: Strategically increase sales and market share of ortho products through effective territory management, sales execution, and customer engagement.
- Healthcare Professional Engagement: Professionally arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists, and hospital medical teams, including both pre-arranged appointments and cold calls , Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers, including physicians, hospitals, pharmacies, and teaching institutions.
- Planning and Implementation: Ensure timely development and implementation of strategic plans, including goals, action plans, time frames, and resource allocation.
- Sales Presentations and Meetings: Conduct one-on-one and group presentations to healthcare professionals, including hospital doctors, pharmacists, and nurses, in a variety of settings such as GP surgeries, hospitals, and retail pharmacies, Organize and manage conferences and medical meetings, promoting ortho
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor activity and competitor products to stay ahead in the market, Maintain detailed records of market visits, competitor analysis, and sales outcomes.
- Resource Management: Efficiently manage and allocate resources, including samples, promotional materials, and educational tools, ensuring they comply with regulatory and ethical guidelines.
- Reporting and Communication: Ensure a robust reporting system is maintained, communicating essential information about physicians, hospitals, and pharmacies to the Medical Field Sales Manager, Present reports on market visits and areas requiring corrective actions to the Sales Manager on a regular basis.
- Event and Promotion Planning: Collaborate with the Sales Manager to organize events, promotions, sales campaigns, and special collections for ortho products, liaise with the Marketing department to facilitate brand sales and awareness campaigns.
- Data and Clinical Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest clinical data provided by ortho and use it to inform presentations and discussions with healthcare professionals, Provide key feedback to ensure sales strategies are data-driven and clinically informed.
- Sales Targets and Performance: Meet and exceed annual sales targets, contributing to the overall success of ortho products, Plan daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules in coordination with the Sales Manager.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Research, to ensure effective execution of business strategies, regularly attend company meetings, technical presentations, and briefings to stay informed on product developments.
- Customer Relations and Database Management: Maintain detailed customer and sales records using a database, ensuring information is up-to-date and accurate, Oversee calls on retail pharmacies and other special customers to foster strong business relationships.
- Research and Consumer Understanding: Contribute to research efforts to gain insights into consumer needs and market opportunities, provide input into marketing and sales strategies based on customer feedback and market trends.
Education and Training:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Fluently speak, read and write English and Arabic
- Able to use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and the internet
- Excellent communication skills and have an ability to maintain a good working relationship with clients.
- Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in stressful situations.
Work Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a related ortho products field.
- 1-year minimum work as a supervisor.
