Onshore/Offshore Well Services Superintendent

OPC is a leading global energy consultancy specialising in providing clients with top-tier expertise and innovative solutions across the upstream E&P, Gas and CO2 storage domains.
We are looking for consultants for one of our clients in Libya for the following position:
Position: Onshore/Offshore Well Services Superintendent
Expected starting date : 1st September 2024 for 12 months.
Location: Tripoli Libya
Scope of work:

• Reviews and approves completion, stimulation, testing, and clean-up programs.
• Supervises daily completion, workover, testing, or well-servicing activities.
• Coordinates with drilling and fluid superintendents.
• Reviews HSE audits, evaluates operational performances, and proposes solutions for improvement.
• Reviews and improves technical specifications of equipment.
• Performs studies related to future phase development.
• Anticipates equipment needs and analyzes contractor performances.
• Validates and supervises reports and ensures the updating of standing instructions.
• Reviews training programs and approves yearly budget.
• Organizes workshops for new technology and replaces the Drilling Manager when on leave.

Requirements:

• Education: BSc. Petroleum engineering or demonstrate high level of technical knowledge in the well service aspect.
• Experience: a minimum of 15 years’ experience in drilling and Well Services operations.
• Required competencies: good working knowledge of API, IWCF standardization.
• Good experience of deal with LANDMARK, Pipe Sim & Prosper design software
• Presentation skills
• Understanding of modelling techniques and methods. Such using Landmark & Pipe Sim & Prosper
• Knowledge of HR policy and labour law
