Network Engineer

Job Description

• Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure, encompassing routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Uphold network security through policy implementation and enforcement.
• Configure and manage network services like DNS, DHCP, VPN, and IP telephony.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network systems with various applications and services.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Stay abreast of the latest networking technologies and trends.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Proficient understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security.
• Experience with network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Familiarity with network software such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, and IP telephony.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, are advantageous.
