Job Duties and responsibilities:

• Lead resolution activities with customers, provide support in area of expertise.

Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution

• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
• Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
• Deliver a range of technical support services to our internal and external customers.
• Maintain high level customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs and ensuring that they are met.
• Handle support issues promptly and appropriately, escalate issues according to established procedures.
• Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.

• Interacting with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.

• Ability to work varied schedules, overtime and weekends, as needed
• Responsible for reporting all problems resolutions to support agent and supervisor.

• Design and implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment
• Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments using information from multiple sources
• Upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases
• Provide remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in an information technology or engineering discipline.

Disciplines such as computer science, electrical or computer engineering and information systems management or equivalent.

Certifications and Credentials:

• CCIE (Cisco)
• CCNP (Cisco)
• JNCIE-ENT (Juniper)
• Network+ (CompTIA)
• WCNA (Wireshark)
