Position Title: Medical Doctor.
Position Reports to: Medical Coordinator.
Field Site: Benghazi.
Date Needed: 01, January 2021
Essential Responsibilities:
The tasks include are not limited to:
- Providing medical consultations and appropriate treatment to persons of concern 5 days per week from 9:00 till 17:00.
- Examining and monitoring pregnant women, undertaking antenatal care.
- Providing appropriate treatment to persons of concern.
- Conducting home visits for medical consultation for beneficiaries if required.
- Obtaining appropriate information and maintaining sufficient patient records as needed.
- Providing patients with correct information regarding his/her conditions.
- Ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Working and planning with other program staff on program activities needed to be implemented on the ground.
- Following-up patients as appropriate including those referred to higher-level medical facilities.
- Performing regular health education sessions for beneficiaries.
- Informing his/her supervisor of any needs in the facility for prompt action.
- Providing regular written and verbal updates regarding activities conducted including monthly reports and daily data collection reports on morbidity and services rendered.
- Preparing and submitting of good issue orders (GIO).
- Follow security protocols including: provision of travel updates on a daily basis to security focal point and supervisor.
- Attending and participating regular country and program meetings as scheduled.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by his/her supervisor for the fulfillment of program objectives.
Qualifications:
- Registered medical doctor, with experience in ICU / ER.
- Ability to perform clinical procedures such as endotracheal intubation.
- At least 3 years’ clinical experience.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to provide feedback/reports regarding work -related activities.

Speak Arabic, and English
