Logistics Coordinator

We are ELAF LTD, a Libyan company established in 2016, specialized in Retail business fashion industry. Elaf has more than 30 stores across Libya.

We are looking for a competent Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company.

The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up stock movement with suppliers, forwarders and customs clearance process
• Negotiate rates with forwarders & custom brokers
• Ensure delivering stock in Main warehouse on time
• Inform all departments about the delivery of stock in the Warehouse
• Following up with Main Warehouse for confirming the stock Quantity
• In case of discrepancy inform supplier and retail department.
• Preparing and updating logistic Report (Management Information system “MIS”)
• Coordinate with the Finance Dept. for payments
• Coordinate with logistics staff (e.g., truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements.
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management

Qualification and Requirements 

• Proven experience as logistics coordinator
• Experience in customer service will be appreciated
• Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field

Job Information

• Location: Based in Tripoli – Libya
• Salary : based on interview.
• Travel : ability to travel inside and outside of Libya
• Working hours: 09:00 am to 16:00 pm
• Working days : Sat – Thu
