Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Laboratory Technical Support
- Equipment Management: Responsible for maintaining and calibrating Comen’s laboratory equipment, ensuring all devices are fully operational and accurate for use.
- Quality Control: Conduct routine quality checks on laboratory instruments and products, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for any equipment malfunctions, performing minor repairs when necessary and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Product Testing: Assist in testing and evaluating new laboratory equipment and devices, gathering data to improve product performance and support product development.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support for clients regarding equipment setup, usage, and maintenance, ensuring they can utilize Comen products effectively and efficiently.
Sales and Promotion
- Client Interaction: Establish and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers, laboratories, and technicians to promote Comen’s products and services.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations for clients, showcasing the functionality, safety, and efficiency of Comen laboratory equipment.
- Sales Goals: Work towards achieving sales targets by promoting Comen’s laboratory products, identifying opportunities for product placements, and upselling complementary products and services.
- Market Expansion: Support the sales team in identifying new client accounts and growth opportunities in medical and laboratory environments.
- Event Participation: Represent Comen at medical and laboratory conferences, workshops, and exhibitions to increase brand awareness and engage with industry professionals.
Reporting and Coordination
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of laboratory supplies and equipment, reporting inventory needs to ensure consistent product availability.
- Data Recording: Maintain accurate records of product testing, client interactions, and service calls to ensure efficient tracking and reporting.
- Collaboration with Sales and Marketing: Work closely with the sales and marketing departments to align on product promotions, marketing strategies, and client needs.

- Training Participation: Attend internal training sessions and workshops to enhance technical expertise and customer service skills.
- Product Knowledge Sharing: Act as a resource for colleagues and clients by sharing knowledge of Comen products, best practices, and industry updates.
- Work Experience:1 to 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Education and Training:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in a relevant field.
- Fluently speak, read and write English and Arabic
- Able to use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and the internet
- Excellent communication skills and have an ability to maintain a good working relationship with clients.
- Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in stressful situations.
