Junior Application Engineer (Benghazi)

ESP Ltd. is looking to fill the position of Junior Application Engineer  in its Benghazi Office. This position is open for local candidates only.

The Junior Application Engineer will play a pivotal role in the ESP Design and Application engineering, responsible for assisting in designing, analysing, and implementing electrical submersible pump systems. The role will also involve technical sales and field engineering tasks to support the sales and service delivery efforts.

The engineer will contribute to optimizing artificial lift solutions for various clients and projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical submersible pump systems for diverse applications.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during pre-sales activities.
• Participate in on-site field work, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ESP systems.
• Engage in technical presentations and discussions with clients to address their artificial lift needs.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, documentation, and proposals.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to provide innovative solutions.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with relevant industry standards.
• Assist in post-sales support and customer relationship management.

Required background, skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical submersible pump systems and artificial lift technologies.
• Strong analytical skills for system design, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Adaptability to work in both office and field environments.
• Basic understanding of sales concepts and customer relationship management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English and Arabic languages (written and spoken).
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; relevant internship experience is a plus.
