Junior Accountant

The Junior Accountant reports to the Senior Accountant. Enter all financial transactions in the accounting system. He/she will be assigned to the main modules: AR, AP, Inv, FA. His/her duties will also include bank reconciliation, petty cash, invoicing, and expense sheet.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Entry booking in all accounting modules: AR, AP, Inv, FA.
• Prepare the invoices to clients and follow delivering them without any delay.
• Generate the AR aging and follow up on collections.
• Prepare Bank, Supplier’s and affiliated companies accounts reconciliation, reports reconciling items and follows up clearing them.
• Review supplier invoices against relative Purchase Orders and reports discrepancies if any.
• Prepare supplier’s payment requisitions according to their payment terms.
• Prepare checks to local suppliers, taxes and others as requested by Finance Manager and certifying checks when required.
• Prepare monthly local payroll.
• Handling Petty cash and expense sheets
• Assist with annual local and external audits

Position Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Experience: 0-3 years of accounting experience
• Bi-lingual (Arabic & English)
• Basic excel skills
