Healthcare Interpreter

Position Title: Healthcare Interpreter.

Position Reports to: Field-Site Manager.

Field Site: Sabha.

Date Needed: 15th September 2020.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communications between international technical advisors and national staff by
  providing English/Arabic interpretation and written translations for training, supervision, and
  other professional needs.
  
• Provide live interpretation during meetings, supervisions, and trainings between technical
  advisors and Libyan staff.
  
• Provide high quality written translations of training and other relevant professional materials.
  
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  
• Respect and prioritize client confidentiality, boundaries, and any conflicts of interest to ensure
  protection of all clients and their families.
  
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

• High proficiency in written and spoken Arabic and English (required).
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with a team.
  
• Very good computer skills.
  
• Previous experience working in an NGO (preferred).
  
• Commitment to humanitarian principles (preferred).
