| Main Purpose of the position | In general, provide support to the health care system in the Fezzan region and to the target health facilities.
Support the project’s activities in the selected health centres, with technical supervision of the main activities to achieve the expected objectives and results. |
· Specific Responsibilities:
Facilitate the implementation of the health activities in the selected health centers Be responsible for the project’s data collection
Support the awareness sessions run by the CHWs inside the facilities
Support the CHWs during the health awareness campaigns (if and when needed) Supervise the distribution of equipment, drugs and medical items
Supervise the trainings of CHWs
Conduct Health facility assessments in coordination and collaboration with other professionals of different sectors
Assist the Project’s Coordinator and Manager in monitoring the implementation of the project
· Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Background in Health, Medical Doctors
Strong analytical skills oral and written communication and team building skills Substantial experience in leading teams of national experts
Excellent working level of Arab and English language in both writing and speaking Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to build and maintain good relations with local authorities, partners and actors involved in the Project and targeted Health Facilities.
· Desired
University or Master degree in a field relevant to the proposed intervention (Global or Public Health)
Relevant previous experience as Medical doctors with International NGO or International Agencies Scale of wages and bonuses:
HELPCODE adheres to the same scale of wages and bonuses adopted by other INGOs operating in the country. The organization is going to abide also by the national rules and regulations foreseen in these cases.
NOTE: it would be highly preferable for doctors to come from the areas described above
