JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Objective:  

ABA ROLI is conducting various social media campaigns in Libya aiming at promoting tolerance, civic education, and other values, through the sharing of messages developed by Libyan citizens and civil society organizations, including short films, audio spots, cartoons, or stories. ABA ROLI is recruiting a social media expert with a strong background in social media communications and administrating sponsored pages in Libyan social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).

Deliverables:

The Contractor/Social Media Expert will be in charge of the following tasks:

• Administrate all social media pages of the campaign, including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, ensuring that the boosted posts reach out target audiences.
• Provide advice and expertise on ways to increase engagement and followers.
• Develop posts in English and Arabic, including infographics, and draft all content-related materials on the social media pages of the campaign.
• Monitor and animate online discussions, respond to followers’ questions and comments.
• Ensure the respect of an online code of conduct with all followers, and alert ABA ROLI in case of breach.
• Provide continuing technical advice to develop and enhance the online impact of the campaign for the Libyan audience, especially targeting youth.
• Regularly report to ABA ROLI on the social media campaign developments and impact and provide weekly and monthly insights for public outreach tracking.

Payment schedule:

The Contractor/Social Media Expert will be paid every month upon submission of a monthly report detailing activities.

Criteria:

• At least 4 years of experience in social media, ideally with international organizations
• Demonstrated knowledge of graphic design.
