Job Description
Cesvi has been one of the first INGOs intervening in Libya, as soon as the Arab Spring begun in 2011 and is carrying out a Humanitarian Protection Program in Tripoli and Misrata within different settings, included Child Protection program since 2016.
The project “Life Saving Assistance to refugees and asylum seekers in Libya” funded by UNHCR,
intends to promote a favorable protection environment for refugees, asylum seekers and irregular
migrants in Tripoli through Protection monitoring and referrals to targeted services.
Specific tasks and responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the implementation of GBV Case Management and GBV prevention and response awareness sessions;
- Provide the GBV Case Workers’ team with technical guidance, capacity building and direction for effective planning, implementation and monitoring of the activities;
- Being focal point for GBV external and internal referrals and for GBV cash panels;
- Conduct weekly coordination and case management supervision meetings with case workers;
- Liaise with psychologists, CP Supervisor and other relevant staff at CDC and Social Center to provide specific assistance to Survivors of GBV and address identified needs;
- Drafting regular reports and review meetings minutes drafted from staff members;
- Updating relevant databases and tools included GBVIMS;
- Observe and respect GBV Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs);
- Respect Cesvi’s Standard Operating Procedures and Code of Conduct for the Confidentiality and the Prevention of Sexual Harassment;
- Participate at GBV Working Groups, team meetings and trainings;
- Represent Cesvi in a professional manner in meetings and ensure effective cooperation with local partners and other relevant actors;
- Coordinate with other relevant stakeholders in order to ensure coordination, implementation of common standards in the field and consideration of protection issues;
- Assist in performing other tasks as requested by the CDC Managers, the CP/GBV Specialist and the Project Manager.

Job Requirements
Requirements:
University degree in psychology, social work, social administration, social sciences, development studies, or a relevant field.
At least 1year experience with UN or Non‐Governmental organizations
Experience in handling cases is an asset.
Trainings in child protection and/or GBV minimum standards and gender mainstreaming are an asset.
Good understanding of Protection Principles and Case Management standards
Good command of written and spoken English.
Good communication skills and ability to conduct training and awareness campaigns
Good computer skills especially Microsoft packages.
Good organizational and management skills.
