Position: Finance Officer
Duty station: Tripoli – Libya
Report to Country Finance Coordinator
Status: Full time
Job Purpose:
Is responsible for ensuring correct financial management, recording and follow up of the project expenditures in Tripoli.
Tasks Finance
- Oversee and guide all expenditures in the field, to ensure that they are carried out properly and in compliance with regulations and procedures.
- Enter payments, receipts and other forms of payment in the accounting system. Ensure all supporting documentation and signatures are obtained before finalizing.
- Ensure that all payslips/time sheets are signed by the staff monthly upon receipt of compensation
- Ensure proper archive of and access to supporting documents
- Weekly cash counting
- Maintains appropriate financial filing system. Maintain files of all financial instructions/guidelines issued as reference for completion of work assignments.
- Ensure administrative and financial compliance of all transactions.
- Support CFC and PM in liquidity estimation per base
- Focal point for salary payment
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned
