Job Summary:
The Deputy Finance Manager will provide accounting and financial control work for the Finance Department.
Responsibilities:
Manages and oversees accounting functions.
Supervises and schedules staff in organization support operations.
Assists Finance Director in staffing decisions in the Finance Department.
Assists with performance evaluations.
Maintains full integrity of all revenues, ensuring organization policies and procedures, as well as Libyan laws and regulations, are followed.
Oversees capital assets projects, ensuring organizations goals are being met.
Compiles fiscal estimates and prepares fiscal reports as requested.
Ensures compliance with accounting procedures through observation, supervision, and testing.
Develops procedures that ensure collections are complete and current.
Performs other related duties as requested.
Communicate with all parties related to the company’s Business, such as Banks, Companies benefiting from Masarat services and customers This is to ensure that the company’s accounts with these parties are followed up, reviewed and matched with the company’s data.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent managerial skills and ability to evaluate the work of others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of organizations applicable financial practices and procedures, as well as a thorough understanding of Libyan rules and regulations.
Proficient with accounting software and standard office and accounting equipment.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
CPA designation highly preferred.
Five years of management experience in finance with a similar organization.
