Civil Engineer

(Mansi Moussa for Contracting and Real Estate Investment) announces its need to hire a (Civil Engineer) who has good experience in engineering and construction works.

General purpose of the job:

Responsible for building and developing projects. The civil engineer’s responsibilities start from the idea of building buildings until their completion. He must provide innovative designs that preserve the nature and environment in which the buildings are built. He must also imagine the aesthetic form of the buildings, take into account the health aspects, societal impacts, and analyze the potential risks of the projects.

Main tasks and responsibilities assigned to him:

• Commitment to the working hours specified in the contract, especially the beginning and the end.
• Compliance with the work policies stipulated in the Personnel Affairs Regulations and all applicable regulations in the company. Providing the materials used in the project according to the project specifications and the approval of the suppliers for each material.
• Calculating the monthly quantities actually used and reviewing them with the quantities of the monthly extract.
• Make a complete inventory of the actual quantities of all project items at the end of the project and compare them with the quantities of the final extract.
• Manage, design, develop and construct construction projects in a safe and timely manner.
• Conduct investigations on the job site and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.).
• Conducting technical and feasibility studies and setting plans that meet the technical specifications.
• Assess potential risks and determine materials and costs.
• Providing advice and appropriate solutions to building and construction problems.
• Supervising employees and communicating with various administrative positions.
• Preparing periodic reports on the status of the project.
• Manage budget and purchase required equipment and materials.
• Follow up on building and safety permits and supervise the application of all conditions.

Skills and abilities :

• Using the computer (Office package) professionally.
• Good knowledge in dealing with design programs such as AutoCAD and (3D Max) and other engineering programs.
• The ability to plan with high efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to design facilities and ensure required specifications.
• Proficiency in project management and supervision skills.
• Excellent communication process with different personalities.

Job Requirements:

• Obtaining a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Previous experience in the field of civil engineering.
• Arabic and English.
