Reporting to ESP Section Head

Job is performed onshore, at Sharara field at workshops and at well sites, accommodate and maintain in living complex and on-call for extra hours upon nature of necessities. Rotation on-off 3×3 weeks

Responsibilities and duties

ESP field specialist is responsible for:

• Installation/pulling of ESP and associated equipment
• Troubleshooting and diagnosis ESP at the surface.
• Develop run operators skills to identify issues with ESP
• Determine criteria for select start by run operator or ESP specialist upon alarm nature
• Run in and Pull out reports
• Off downhole equipment analysis and recommendations
• Assist and manage electro submersible pump DH and surface equipment in order to maximize well productivity and ESP run life.

Minimum qualifications required

To perform the following aptitudes and performances are needed

• Extensive technical experience in running Electrical Submersible Pump
• Skillful in surface panel equipment VSD and SB
• Deep knowledge in different motors, pump sizes, connectors types, and conductors
• Advance knowledge for downhole gauge troubleshooting
• Skillful in the installation of Y-tool
• Analytical skill to map ESP problems root cause, troubleshooting and post-repaired
• Communications and Teamworking Skills (working with teammates and other involved areas)
• Safety awareness and respectfulness
• Arabic speaker is a must / English speaker is a plus.
