Job purpose
The commercial tender specialist responsible for the creation of comprehensive responses to call of tenders.
Reviews each call for tender in detail with responsible commercial person to determine a response strategy, which includes scope of delivery, pricing and delivery timelines.
The Tender specialist will co-manage the tender process to assist in the strategic growth of the construction & oil services , contract compliance as specified in the RFQ and tender scope, for procurement and supplier contracts.
As the tender specialist you are also responsible for monitoring of the tender submission process for formatting, completeness, consistency, reporting compliance.
You will assist in the management of data related to the tendering process.
Skills
● Excellent communication and project management skills to manage clients and
partners and gather deliverables from a range of internal and external stakeholders
within pressurized schedules.
● Excellent organizational skills.
● Very strong writing skills to be able to construct high quality, complex narratives and
convey complex ideas simply and clearly.
● Strong numeracy skills and moderate-advanced level of competence using Excel
spreadsheets and formulas for financial information including price modelling and
budget preparation.
● Confident and proficient in IT skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
products.
