Established in 2009 in Libya, TEAM for TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT has built a strong reputation over its 14 years of experience in the realm of development projects. Our vision is to become a world-leading development aid company that contributes to the welfare of developing countries. Our mission is to support developing countries in achieving sustainable development goals through acting as an implementing partner to UN organizations and INGOs.

In the past three years, our company has focused its efforts on the development consulting field, quickly emerging as a market leader in a highly competitive landscape. In this short time, we have successfully delivered projects to most of the UN organizations and INGOs operating in Libya, demonstrating our ability to address complex challenges and provide tailored solutions. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to our vision and mission, striving to make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

We have created successful partnerships with premier NGOs and UN-associated organizations in Libya, successfully implementing 30 projects with an unparalleled customer satisfaction score of 100%. Our operations span six specialized areas:

1. Municipal Development and Decentralization

In close collaboration with international development aid organizations, we provide specialized technical and managerial support to Municipalities while advocating for and aiding the decentralization process.

Key Accomplishments

In our roles as implementation partners for GIZ and Help Code Italy, we’ve delivered capacity-building services to 30 Municipalities across Project Cycle Management, Logical Framework Approach, Organization Development, Emergency Response, and the establishment of Primary Health Care Centers.

2. Economic Development

We empower entrepreneurs from micro, small, and medium enterprises through our partnerships with business incubators and accelerators. Our technical assistance extends to the Chamber of Commerce and labor rehabilitation offices, enhancing their ability to serve the private sector. We focus on enhancing employability by improving the TVET sector, reducing unemployment, and fostering economic welfare.

Key Accomplishments

As implementation partners for IOM and ACTED, we’ve fortified business incubators with capacity-building initiatives for entrepreneurs, the Chamber of Commerce, and labor rehabilitation offices. Our initiatives included mapping of TVET centers in the southern region and development of several curriculums in line with job market assessments.

3. Strengthening CSOs

Strengthening the CSO sector is a crucial aspect of our work, as we’re committed to fostering organizational and capacity development to ensure CSO sustainability.

Key Accomplishments

As partners with ACTED, UNDP, and IOM, we’ve conducted numerous capacity-building programs, focusing on gender mainstreaming, Child Protection, PSS, Fundraising, Financial Management, working with Vulnerable populations, among other things. We also conducted a comprehensive Mapping study of CSOs in Libya.

4. Youth Empowerment and Inclusion

Our unwavering commitment to youth development underscores our belief in creating a brighter future by investing in our most valuable asset: human capital.

We’ve rolled out a Youth empowerment program with IOM in southern Libya and delivered capacity-building programs for Libyan youth in cooperation with ACTED across the east, west, and south.

5. Education

Our goal is to implement best practices across all activities and resources that serve children, youth, and adults. Prioritizing the most vulnerable, particularly war-affected children, we create educational resources and processes that are flexible, evidence-based, and multi-modal. Our initiatives equip teachers with the necessary tools and methodologies to better support children affected by conflict.

Key Accomplishments

In a collaborative project with ACTED, we dedicated two years to restoring safe and quality education access and supporting evidence-based, coordinated humanitarian aid in Libya.
