RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monthly reconciliation of costs, inventories and analyze variances
- Monthly P&L of locations.
- Strong follow-up of locations PRJ (Food Cost)
- Ensure and follow-up of physical inventories and locations accounts audits during frequent visits.
- Minimum of monthly travel to sites
- Responsible for overseeing inventory management, cost analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Work closely with the locations managers to ensure that the services and the menus are correctly priced and that food and beverage costs are in line with budget.
- Analyze invoices to ensure correct products/services were received at the expected cost
- Identify opportunities and areas where costs can be reduced without compromising quality
- Support most aspects of accounting management (Billing, reporting etc)
- Assistance and preparation of frequent and monthly financial statements of all locations
- Follow-up supplies, entries, invoices and reconcile accounts for the monthly and annual closing
- Close coordination with Finance and AR Accounts on monthly invoices
- Assistance and participation with B&D in tenders costing.
- Maintain records and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
- Collaborate with department heads and management to develop and maintain an annual budget, including cost projections and revenue forecasts.
- Reporting to Operations Manager
SKILLS:
- Proven experience as cost controller or similar position within food industry.
- Experience in remote site catering business
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting)
- Good analytics and reporting skills
- Solid working knowledge of MS Offices and ERP is an advantage
- Attention to details and analytical skills
- Capacity of persuasion
- Good knowledge of English. Arabic is an advantage
- Professional certifications
- Acknowledge of ISO 22000: 2018 and 9000: 2015 Quality Management System
