JOB TITLE: Senior Internal Auditor
DEPARTMENT: Internal Audit
REPORTING TO: Internal Audit Coordinator
LOCATION: Tripoli
OBJECTIVES OF JOB
Contribute to the preparation of undertake periodic review of activities of departments and assess their performance as well as assessing the risk management, then reports gab analysis and offers advice on needed improvements to the management committee.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guarantee the compliance of all incoming and outgoing documents with company regulation and government law.
- Ensure that company procedures are adhere to.
- Handle confidential documents ensuring they remain secure
- Planning developing, and executing audit programs in a timely, accurate, and effective manner.
- Testing compliance of existing internal controls.
- Preparation of detailed internal audit reports in accordance with internal audit procedure.
- Liaise with various departments in the identifications and investigation of issues within the organization, providing appropriate follow-up as required with relevant department heads.
- Participate to perform audit and report to internal audit coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be Accounting Graduates
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience
Applicants must have a previous experience in Oil & Gas and must have held a position of internal audit or accounting for at least 5 years.
