Job Description:
Location: Tripoli.

Working hour: Sunday –Thursday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Annual leave: 30 days /annum.
Contract: As per the Libyan law.

Tax & Social Media: As per the Libyan law.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure that product and advertising materials are appropriately displayed in all relevant retailers on a daily basis
• Design of the promotional materials and maintain contact with key accounts in order to supervise all promotional activities
• Ensure the company’s products are well represented at retail level and are adhering to corporate guidelines and overall Sales and Marketing strategies
• Formulate a strong merchandising strategy, including space, location, branding and listing guidelines and communicate it to the sales team

 

• Ensure that all promotions are appropriately given in retailers
• Maximize sales by setting up displays that stimulate consumers to spend more in store.
• Be versed in the disciplines of physical presentation of products and displays, and the decisions about which products should be presented to which customers at what time according to company standers.
• Ensure that all displayed items are fully stocked.
• Supervise the correct installing and dismantling displays by the merchandiser
• Responsible for the development and follow-up of all Point of Sale Materials (POSM).
• Lead, guide, train and develop sales team in merchandising planograms.
• Utilize efficiently and appropriately the space available, work within a budget and meet deadlines.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Possess attention to details and reporting.
• Possess excellent attendance and positive attitude to the job.
• Computer literate and the ability to use Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with a team.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Self-motivated to prioritize the tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school degree or secondary certificate equivalent
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in a related field
• Fluently speak, read and write English and Arabic
• Valid Driver’s License
